our lives have taken such amazing journeys. our lives have taken us states apart, thousands of miles and two/three timezones away (they still doing that crazy deal of not changing their clocks?) and we talk when holidays are approaching or we could use extra prayer for something. but we don't call to catch up, we don't even chat about the Steelers, March Madness, or really anything. and that's not really that surprising.
but this past week has been rough on him, the loss of someone who is his age, who leaves behind a son, who goes from a small fever to dead in 12 hours, and needless to say my bro is a bit shaken. don't blame him really...
i tell you what though, i'm thankful i got to hear his voice today. love that guy, miss him like crazy...nobody can give my mom a harder time than the two of us when we are together...buddy, loved chatting with you today, thankful i got to pray with you too...hopefully many more times to come.
