...dad, we missed it...

It's been a while since i've been on here, but due to prolonged illness and a snow storm this city was not prepared for, there hasn't been much going on in my world...until Mandy and I discovered a new show on Friday night...

...dad, we missed our calling, this could have rivaled the comedy of the father-son interactions on American Chopper...

Man v. Food.  This is a show about a guy who looks half-dressed/half-awake and travels around to cities in the US, goes to the famous restaurants in the city, samples the fare, and then finds a restaurant with some kind of eating challenge ala the '86er on The Great Outdoors.  I watched as he downed some great BBQ and attempted to eat the sasquatch burger in Memphis, Deep-dish Pizza, Italian Sandwiches, and a 3-sandwich challenge in Chicago and I began to weep at what could have been.  I was delighted to see he visited Primanti Bros, DeLuca's and Quaker Stake in the 'burgh.  While this show does illustrate what is wrong with some of the gluttony in the good ole USA, this is definitely a show i wish i could watch with my dad and then travel around with him to try and see if we can take down all the challenges...

I laughed so hard as I was reading this post, I think I may have peed a little. Just the thought of you and your dad on tour to find the best restaurant challenges.....I'd definitely have to stay home to watch that! Miss you bro--MImi
