the return of Night Strike...

well, not really the return of night strike, as much as my return to night strike.  i think its been about 3 or 4 weeks since i went, between the Luis Palau fest (grr), visit to Mandy's grandma(so relaxing and wonderful), sis-in-law's wedding planning weekend (i went golfing during the planning :) )...its been a while.  

i'm looking forward to it tonight.  i found out that the youth from Portland First Church will be there tonight, so that will be cool to see some of the students there that i see on Sundays but don't really know yet.  it will also be good because Joel their youth pastor has asked me to help him in out in a discussion on politics and religion...he wants me to talk about social justice issues and why they matter to me as a Christ-follower.  tonight will be a good thing to reference.  anyway, no funny anecdotes or stories on this post, just kind of an update, i'll try to post something about night strike in the next day or so...

...in the meantime, i'm counting down to the first nationally televised Steeler game of the season...my neighbor's going to come over and wear his Browns jersey...i might have to charge him admission if he's gonna actually think he can get in my house with that on...
