...last thursday night i had my neighbor craig over and one of the boys from down the street enrike (10yrs old) to watch oregon state beat usc (go beavs)...
at half time, i turned the tv off, grabbed my Bible and said, hey let's read something real quick, talk about it, and then i'll grab some dessert out the kitchen. (enrike used to come to Bible study, but boy scouts has taken him away and craig's been a bit hesitant, understandably). so we had a 7 min Bible study at half-time, it was awesome...
2 days later enrike leaves a note on my door askin me to throw the football with him when i got home...i couldn't that day, but on saturday we played catch for about 30 minutes and are going to do it again today...i so look forward to playin catch with my own kid someday...
same day on saturday craig came over and told me he got hired by 2 new clients (he's a personal care-giver), 1 for 5 days a week and 1 for the other 2...giving him about 34 hrs a week...and he said, 'nick, when's the next Bible study, cause i know 'He' had somethin to do with this and i dont wanna mess it up. i need to be there.' he said the same thing to mandy yesterday...

I am so glad that Jesus is taking care of you...just when you need it most He provided encouragement in these tough days!
Praise god for renewal and a wonderful wife. Glad you have had some encounters with the fella's! You are exactly where you are suppose to be.. the clouds will lift... this too shall pass.
God is not slow in keeping his promises as some understand slowness....
